As we celebrate our 40th year serving the communities of Pomquet, Heatherton and surrounding areas, many of us are reminded about all the hours of volunteering that goes inot running a fire department.  This volunteering of time not only transpires to our firefighters but to their spouses, family, friends and community.  Without this support our first 40 years would not have been possible. Our Department has had many changes over the years, most recently the purchase of a new heavy rescue unit, Hurst Vetter air bag system and a thermal imaging camera, has helped us progress forward as a department.  As another tool to bring us into the computer age is the creation of this web site, which we hope you enjoy.
